BALTIMORE — Tickets for the first-ever concert at Camden Yards go on sale at 10 a.m. today.
On Jan. 10, the Orioles announced that Billy Joel would “take the field” on Friday, July 26, for the first live musical event at the well-loved Baltimore landmark.
American Express card members got first crack at snagging seats via a presale of tickets that lasted from Jan. 14 through Jan. 17. Birdland Members – Orioles season ticket holders – got their chances next through another exclusive presale on Jan. 16 and 17.
The general public tickets will be available through Ticket Master.
Joel’s upcoming summer tour makes frequent stops at ballparks around the country between his standing gigs at Madison Square Garden in New York City. It won’t be his first time enjoying the diamond; Joel is a well-known Mets fan who makes the occasional appearance in the seats of Citi Field, another baseball stadium where has performed.
Prices for the Camden Yards show have yet to be announced. By comparison, tickets at his other stadium stops range from roughly $50-60 on the low end, to $200 or more on the high end.
