Apple says they're exploring ways to use the iPhone to help users sleep.

The company is testing a new system that would automatically control alarms and notifications to manage when to head to bed at night and wake up in the morning.

The sleep tracker would use sensors to track the gap of time between when someone goes to bed and the actual moment when they fall asleep.

An alarm would be set unless an item in the user's calendar takes precedence.
