Parents now have access to an app that lets them see how their kids are doing while at school.
The ClassDojo app allows teachers and students to share what happens in real time. Parents using the app can get notifications for updates on their child's performance and can even send direct messages to teachers.
The company says since launching in 2011, about 90 percent of elementary and middle schools in the U.S. have adopted the social network.
The app is used in 130 countries around the world.
