One grocery store chain has confused the chicken of the sea with real chicken.
Whole Foods recalls their chicken salad for being made with tuna salad instead. The Buffalo Style Chicken Salad was distributed to 35 Wholes Foods stores in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York.
The concern comes since tuna is a known food allergen and could cause reactions including hives, nausea and breathing problems.
The USDA says no confirmed reactions have been reported.
