Spirit Airlines will begin international flights at BWI Airport this year.
The low-cost carrier will offer flights between BWI and Cancun, Mexico starting November 9.This will be Spirit's first international route offered in Baltimore.
Spirit already operates flights between BWI and 18 other markets growing from just two flight destinations when spirit first began operating at BWI in 2012.
