Health departments in Illinois and Iowa are investigating outbreaks of a parasite and CNN reports they may be linked to salads at McDonald's.
Illinois has had 90 cases since mid-May and Iowa is reporting 15 cases since late June.
The parasite in question causes intestinal illness.
Symptoms can begin one week after eating contaminated food.
Health departments in Illinois and Iowa are working with the CDC and FDA to find the exact source of the outbreak.
