Minimum wage workers can't afford two-bedroom apartments anywhere

Posted

Full-time minimum wage workers can't afford a two-bedroom apartment anywhere in the U.S.

That's according to an annual report from the National Low Income Housing Coalition.

A household must earn $29.04 in Maryland to afford a two-bedroom rental home without paying more than 30% of their income.

Only New York, California, D.C. and Hawaii are higher.
