While you're shopping, keep in mind some products come with a security risk.

The least secure device on a list put together by Mozilla is this baby monitor made by “Fredi.“ It has been easily hacked in the past, and it does not prompt you to change the default password. The company also doesn't push out security updates to the device.

Amazon devices are on a lot of people's lists, but Mozilla is not ranking them very well.

The Echo and Dot both share information with third parties, and they don't delete data that the device learns about you.

If you're a parent, you may have heard about this “Dino“ by Cognitoys.

It listens to children's questions and gives them answers that are appropriate for their age,but Mozilla says the toy has previously transmitted information over wifi networks. That means anyone could access information about the child using it.

Some gadgets that did make the good list?

Mozilla says the Nintendo Switch is secure, so are the Playstation 4 and Apple's Airpods.
