Traveling for Memorial Day is going to cost you more than usual this year, if you're traveling by car.

The American Automobile Association says prices at the pump will be at their highest levels for Memorial Day Weekend since 2014.

The national average for a gallon of gas is at $2.93.

That's up about $.50 from the last three years.

The average price for a gallon of regular gas here in Maryland as of May 23, 2018 is $2.95.

Unfortunately, prices aren't expected to fall in the summer months.
