BGE's My Account aimed at saving customers money

Posted

Paying bills online is not only efficient, it can save you money.

BGE is encouraging consumers to open online accounts for a variety of reasons:

To track your usage. You can track your daily energy usage, so you know exactly how much you’re using, and how much it’s costing you. You’ll also be able to sign up for email and text alerts to better keep an eye on your usage.

To compare and contrast. You can compare your usage to others in your neighborhood, so you know what’s appropriate.

To set goals. Would you like to cut back on how much energy you use, but have no idea how to get there? BGE My Account will help you set annual energy-saving goals.

To learn how to save on bills. You’ll be able to view savings tips tailored to your home and your energy needs.

And, of course, you’ll be able to pay your bills online.
