Amazon may soon have a new way of delivering packages.
The online retailer received a new patent involved a delivery method using drones to drop packages attacked to parachutes.
A launch date for the service has not been made known, but Amazon is conducting tests overseas.
Last year, Amazon was award a patent for what it calls an “airborne fulfillment center," what could be described as a flying, mobile warehouse.
