An auto advocacy group is calling on Ford to recall more than 1,000,000 of its Explorers.
The Center for Auto Safety sent a letter to Ford about the SUVs.
The group says it found 44 complaints about exhaust fumes in the vehicles' passenger compartments.
Owners made the discovery after they took their vehicles in for repairs.
Ford says its vehicles are safe, and anyone unhappy with repairs should contact their dealerships for further inspection.
