BALTIMORE — A Baltimore man has been found guilty of the first-degree rape of a woman at a Linthicum motel.
Davon Ferguson, 41, was convicted on two counts of second-degree rape and two counts of assault.
On January 22, 2023, officers responded to the Extended Stay America in Linthicum for reports of an assault.
A 24-year-old woman said a man entered her room and raped her at knifepoint.
He then fled on foot, leaving his wallet and driver's license behind.
Only half dressed, he fled to nearby motel and was quickly located.
Ferguson was also responsible for another rape that happened in 2021.
At the time, he was wanted for first-degree rape and first degree attempted rape, both of which occurred on January 26, 2021.
On January 31, around 1:33 a.m., the then 39-year-old Ferguson was arrested at a home in the 1600 block of Ellamont Street.
