Baltimore City's 7th annual Toys for Tots reception is Thursday at City Hall.
Hundreds of toys for kids in Baltimore will be collected from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Anyone attending is asked to bring one new, unwrapped toy to gain admission to the event and enjoy the festivities. A form of photo ID must also be present.
Marines will help out City Council President Jack Young after the toy collection by distributing them throughout the city.
Thanks to donations from local corporations, Young was able to purchase hundreds of toys for the event.
