The Teen Media Project, at WMAR-TV in Baltimore, lets local high school students become television journalists.
A dozen teenagers from local high schools are selected each November to create a monthly news program that airs once a month on the ABC affiliate in Baltimore, WMAR-TV.
The teens are paired up with photographers from WMAR, to report, write, and produce a 30 minute news show. They research events important to teenagers. Their goal? To create news stories for teens, about teens, and by teens.
