Paul joined WMAR in 1982, and while he’s a Multi Media Journalist now, that’s not how he got his start. Paul actually started working on the Assignment Desk, juggling crews. He went on to become an Assistant Director, Editor, News and Sports Photojournalist, and now MMJ.

Paul loves covering major events but really loves sports. In his years at WMAR he covered the Ravens Super Bowl victory, the Maryland Men’s Basketball Championship and he was there when Cal Ripken Junior ended the streak. Paul continued his journey covering Cal at the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Paul has covered a number of weather events in the Baltimore area; tornadoes, floods and tropical storms. He has also had the honor of covering some well-known political figures and really likes covering local elections.

Paul is very proud of his work and has received numerous awards for his photojournalist and editing.

In his spare time, Paul likes spending time at the beach, going to sports events and reading a good mystery novel. He grew up in Rockville, he attended Towson State University. Paul currently lives in Harford County with his wife and son.
