Managua “Manny” P. Locke Jr. is a graduate of Johnson C. Smith University with a degree in Journalism. He is an Emmy award winning photojournalist with over 30 years experience, 24 of those years in Baltimore.
He started his career in Charlotte, North Carolina at WSOC-TV and says after meeting Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee, he was inspired to be a storyteller through photography.

Manny loves spending time with his wife and two daughters. He really enjoys watching his daughter dance for the Exhale Dance Tribe in Cincinnati, Ohio under Missy Lay Zimmer and Andrew Hubbard her Artistic Directors.
Manny is the current President of the Baltimore Metropolitan Area Chapter of the Buffalo Soldiers. He works to tell the stories of the Buffalo Soldiers, an organization formed after the Civil Ware by the Federal Government. He’s been involved in the organization for 15 years and won the 2007 Legacy of Excellence Gateway Aware for his community work.
