ELKRIDGE, Md. — One person is dead following a Monday morning crash along I-95 in Howard County.
Maryland State Police say a trash truck rear-ended a parked tractor-trailer near MD-100.

The trash truck driver, 47-year-old Lazaro Miranda, died on scene, while two passengers were helicoptered to Shock Trauma.
One of two occupants inside the tractor-trailer was taken by ambulance to the hospital.
Police are investigating the primary cause of the crash.
Two of four southbound I-95 lanes along that stretch remain shut down.
