Two people were thrown from their vehicle during a crash on I-97 North Tuesday morning, the Anne Arundel County Fire Department said.
The accident occurred near the area of Brightview Drive at 7:56 a.m.
Firefighters arrived on the scene to find a pickup truck that had rolled over, ejecting the driver and the truck's only other passenger in the process.
One of the truck's occupants, a man thought to be in his 20s, was taken to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma in Baltimore with critical, life-threatening injuries, police said.
