Friday evening, Baltimore City Police apprehended two males for possession of handguns in the city.
Officers arrested John Poole, 30, during a search and seizure, in the 1200 block of W. Lombard Street.
During the search, police found a 9mm handgun and heroin packaged for street distribution.
Poole is legally prohibited from possessing a firearm.
Later that night, In the 200 block of South Dallas Street, officers arrested 18-year-old David Kotras.
City police were out walking in the Perkins Homes neighborhood, when police came across men engaged in a drug deal.
A 9mm semi-automatic handgun and cocaine packaged for distribution was found on Kotras.
