Loyola University Maryland student tests positive for COVID-19, says university president

BALTIMORE — Loyola University Maryland officials confirmed that a student has tested positive for COVID-19.

In statement released Sunday evening, there's another student waiting for their test results.

The university president, Rev. Brian F. Linnane, S.J., said the student who test positive "has not been on campus since exhibiting symptoms."

According to the Maryland Health Department, there are 32 positive coronavirus cases n the state.
